New Format for Zazzle Earnings Reports

Tracking separate income streams — royalties, referrals, volume bonuses, multiple Zazzle stores, and sales from both the U.S. and U.K. portals — has been frustrating for Zazzle sellers. We’ve just completed some enhancements that should make your earnings reports more transparent.

Your Royalty report has three new information fields. We’ve added the Transaction ID for each sale and indicators to show if the sale resulted from a 3rd Party Referral and whether it will count toward your volume bonus. In the case of a referred sale, we pay your royalty based on the item’s sale price less the 20% referral fee (see how this works). Referred sales do not count toward your volume bonus unless you referred the sale. See how to refer sales.

We also added the Transaction ID for each sale shown on your Referral report along with an indicator showing the sale will count toward your volume bonus, as it does when you are the referrer on the sale.

To make your earnings summary page easier to understand, we’ve changed the name of the “Bonus Pending” column to “Unpaid Bonus.” We also changed the name of the “Bonus Cleared” to “Paid Bonus.”

We also added your “Master” account name to “Non-Master” account pages. To make sure you have all your accounts linked to your “Master” account, add the accounts to the list on your volume bonus summary page.

Short Takes: Style Control, Flash Bulk Image Uploader, Dadisms

SKU Filtering
Many sellers have asked for a product creation enhancement that allows them to control the styles of products on which their designs can appear — only on sustainable fabric t-shirts, for example. We have added a dropdown list labeled, “Sell this design on:” on the Post for Sale page. You can use this dropdown to set your controls. (See below)

Flash Bulk Image Uploader
Both Mac and PC users should welcome the addition of a bulk image uploader capability to their My Images page. If your browser supports and has the proper version of Adobe Flash installed (help), you will automatically be using the Bulk Image Uploader whenever you choose to upload images.

Style Control
For store owners fluent in HTML, we’ve added another level of sophistication to their ability to customize the appearance of their stores. If you click on the “Beta! Enable advanced options” checkbox on your store design page you can modify the XHTML and CSS to have full control over your store’s appearance. Please use caution when you manipulate this code because a mistake could take your store offline.
